We have all heard the phrase “Time is Money”. I can't think of a better way to describe your reconditioning process. Through the years, studies have proven two things, time and time again, 1) the longer a vehicle is in your inventory, the less money you make, 2) the sales consultant is the number one reason people purchase/lease a vehicle. Given this knowledge, why wouldn’t you do anything and everything necessary to make your reconditioning process as fast as possible? Furthermore, why wouldn’t you give your sales representatives the ability to have all the information about the vehicles they are selling (for you) at their fingertips? We’ve all heard the phrase “Knowledge is Power”, why not give your sales team the knowledge/power to stand “Head and Shoulders” above the competition?
Imagine if everyone on your team could tell you the exact location of every vehicle in your inventory at any given time. Imagine them being able to answer questions about the equipment, color, service history, and miles of the every vehicle in your inventory. Even more impressive would be them doing all these things without fumbling through inventory sheets, telling the customer “I’ll have to get back to you”, or even worse, LYING to the customer. What if they could tell you what stages of the reconditioning process have and haven't been completed, exactly what the service department recommended for repairs and what was approved and/or declined?Everyday technology gets more and more advanced, why not use these advances and take your business and profits to the next level?
